# Core training courses
The Workato Foundations series contains Workato Academy's core training courses. The series provides a structured learning pathway with video lessons, study materials, interactive labs, tests, and completion certificates.
The Workato Foundations series consists of the following courses:
- Workato Foundations I (opens new window): Covers the Workato ONE platform architecture, solution design frameworks, and fundamental recipe design concepts.
- Workato Foundations II (opens new window): Explores Workato's capabilities across the pillars of our BOAT (Business Orchestration and Automation Technologies) framework, including iPaaS, Data Orchestration, API Management, Business Process Automation (BPA), and AI Agentic workflows.
Workato Academy also offers specialized courses (opens new window) that focus on specific use cases and industry automation concepts.
# Transition from Automation Pro courses
The Workato Foundations series replaces the Automation Pro I, II, and III courses, which will be removed from Workato Academy on November 1, 2025. Existing certificates remain accessible until expiration.
We recommend that learners currently enrolled in Automation Pro courses switch to the Workato Foundations series for the most current content. Partner learning paths will be updated to include Workato Foundations 1 and 2 instead of the previous Automation Pro requirements.
Embedded customers should note that while Workato Foundations covers concepts applicable to Embedded use cases, the existing Embedded learning path remains the primary resource for Embedded-specific features.
Refer to the Workato Foundations FAQ (opens new window) page for more information.
