# Pricing
PRICING MODEL
The pricing structure described in this guide applies only to direct customers who are part of Workato's usage-based pricing model. If you joined Workato before February 2024, you are part of a separate pricing model. Refer to your organization's pricing plan and contract, or contact your Customer Success Representative to learn more.
Workato offers a usage-based pricing model for direct customers. This model includes:
- A platform edition fee, which determines access to platform capabilities.
- A usage fee, which scales based on your usage volume. You only pay for what you use.
You can also purchase additional capabilities as needed.
# Platform editions
Workato provides a range of editions, enabling you to select the one that offers the capabilities that meet your organization's requirements. Subsequent editions include all the features of the previous one, along with additional capabilities unique to that edition.
# Usage
Workato's usage-based pricing model enables you to purchase the usage capacity necessary to meet your business requirements. It also allows you to use a common billing unit to pay for all of our platform capabilities and the freedom to allocate your resources to the capabilities you need most. This ensures price predictability and that you receive fair value for your spend.
Refer to the Understanding usage for product capabilities section for more information.
# Additional capabilities
You can purchase certain additional features individually, depending on your contract and plan. This can include additional OPAs and concurrency.
