Collaboration safeguards
Collaboration safeguards show when a recipe is being edited in more than one place at the same time, whether by a teammate or by you in another browser tab or window. This helps you avoid overwriting changes or losing work.
Hover over the avatar next to the recipe name to see which teammates are currently editing the recipe.
Teammates currently editing a recipe
Workato notifies you when you click Edit recipe and a teammate is already editing the recipe. You can wait until they finish, or proceed with editing anyway.
Warning that another user is editing the recipe
A similar notification appears inside the recipe editor when a teammate is editing the recipe at the same time, which helps you avoid losing work when you save.
If the same recipe is edited in more than one place, such as in two browser tabs or by two people at once, your version can become obsolete and can no longer be saved or tested. Record any changes you want to keep, then reload the page to update to the latest version. Reloading discards any unsaved work in the current tab.
