# CYPHER Learning - Update users in batch action

The Update users in batch action lets you update multiple users in CYPHER Learning.

# Input

Input field Description
ID Specify the ID of the user to update.
About Specify the updated user description.
Archived Indicates whether the user is archived.
Birthdate Specify the user's birthdate.
City Specify the city in the user’s address.
Country Specify the country in the user’s address.
Custom fields Provide additional information about the user.
Email Specify the user's updated email address.
Email sync Indicates how messages should be synced to email. Options include None, All, or Digest.
First name Enter the user's first name.
Gender Specify the user's gender.
Instructor ID Specify the instructor ID. This is generally used externally for the learning platform.
Job title ID Enter the user’s job title ID.
Language Specify the user's preferred language.
Last name Enter the user's last name.
Learner ID Specify the learner ID. This is generally used externally for the learning platform.
Mobile phone Enter the user's mobile phone number.
Nickname Enter the user's nickname.
Organization ID Specify the ID of the user’s organization.
Phone Enter the user's phone number.
Roles Specify the user's roles.
SIS ID Specify the SIS ID of the user.
SIS PID Specify the SIS PID of the user.
SMS Email Specify the email address used to send SMS messages.
SMS sync Indicates how messages should be synced to SMS or email. Options include None, All, or Digest.
State Specify the state of the user’s address.
Street 1 Enter the first line of the user’s address.
Street 2 Enter the second line of the user’s address.
Street 3 Enter the third line of the user’s address.
Tags Specify the tags to assign to the user.
Time zone Specify the user's time zone.
User ID The unique user ID of the user.
Year of graduation Specify the user's graduation year.
ZIP Specify the ZIP code in the user’s address.
