Notification settings
Optional. Enter a comma-separated list of email addresses to notify in the Recipient field. Defaults to the project admin's email address if left blank.
Optional. Leave Transfer runs enabled to receive an email when a transfer fails all retry attempts and moves to the error queue. This setting is On by default.
Optional. Enable the Successful runs toggle to receive an email when target delivery is confirmed and post-processing completes. This setting is Off by default.
Optional. Enable the Transfer inactivity toggle to receive an email when a transfer doesn't run within 30 minutes of the expected schedule. This setting is Off by default.
Click Save.
# Best practices
Workato recommends the following best practices for transfer flow notifications:
Failure notifications: Enable failure notifications for production transfers to catch issues quickly.
Success notifications: Enable success notifications only for critical transfers to avoid inbox overload. Most transfers succeed routinely.
Inactivity notifications: Enable inactivity notifications for time-sensitive transfers where missing a schedule indicates upstream system issues.
Multiple recipients: Include the operations team and relevant stakeholders in the Recipient field.
