Introducing BambooHR Time Off Actions

Why is this important?

The latest HR trends in improving employee experience is providing a seamless experience throughout the entire employee life cycle. On top of onboarding and offboarding processes, the most commonly-engaged HR activity by employees is management of paid time off (PTO). In most situations, employees need to login to the dedicated HRMS UI to request, modify, approve, or reject PTO applications. However, with the advent of remote work and mobile-first interaction, it's important for employers to provide flexibility in how employees manage their working hours.

BambooHR Time Off Actions

In early 2023, we released a set of actions pertaining to the management of employee time off in BambooHR. They include:

• Create/update time off request action
• Update time off request status action
• List time off requests action

With them, you can now build integrations with Workbot to allow remote management of time off by employees and their supervisors without the need for UI login.
